Temporary Full-Time Position

Timeframe: Approximately 7 months, June 15, 2026 – January 15, 2027

The Advisor Marketing Consultant, who will report to Manager, Advisor Marketing & Communication, will support the marketing initiatives of Janney’s Financial Advisors and their teams (Private Client Group) through developing multi-channel marketing and client communication campaigns. In addition, the Advisor Marketing Consultant will serve as liaison to communicate priority content, platform updates, and best practices to Janney’s Financial Advisors and their teams.

  • Relationship Management & Advisor Collaboration- Builds strong, collaborative relationships with Janney financial advisors and internal business partners by being responsive, reliable, and solutions-oriented. Acts as a trusted partner to advisors, supporting their marketing, client communication, and business growth.
  • Marketing Consulting- Uncovers key objectives and develops multi-faceted marketing plans for Janney’s financial advisors and their teams. Has a strong results-oriented desire to measure and optimize for success.
  • Communication & Presentation Skills- Delivers clear, confident presentations that inform financial advisors of how to leverage marketing trends, industry and firmwide best practices to help grow their business. Adapts communication style to the audience and consistently builds trust through professionalism and clarity.

Responsibilities

  • Support financial advisor-led growth through marketing initiatives, campaign planning, and sponsorship activations (organic growth)
  • Support recruitment and transition of financial advisors by presenting Janney’s marketing offerings in home-office visits and preparing client announcement materials (in-organic growth)
  • Serve as dedicated marketing consultant for the financial advisors located in one of Janney’s geographically defined regions
  • Collaborate with internal business partners such as Private Client Group and Wealth Management to align support for financial advisors
  • Work with Janney’s financial advisors and teams to establish, and meet, project goals and deadlines
  • Conceptualize, facilitate, and help to implement marketing deliverables, which may include client letters and emails, newsletters, announcements, event invitations, seminar materials, brochures, advertisements, press releases, social media posts, website content and more
  • Use available marketing tools and third-party vendors to support financial advisors’ strategic business goals
  • Communicate project status and updates to Financial Advisors and teams
  • Track, report on, and analyze the performance of multi-channel marketing initiatives to provide actionable feedback and next steps where applicable
  • Exercise thoughtfulness with regards to regulatory requirements set forth by FINRA and the SEC and internal Janney policies
  • Fulfill other Marketing & Corporate Communication projects as assigned with the purpose of advancing initiatives, maximizing efficiency or otherwise furthering our support of Janney’s growth.

What You Have:

  • 5+ years of marketing communications experience and/or financial services experience preferred
  • Relationship management and/or customer success experience preferred
  • Client service oriented, positive demeanor, able to handle high volume, multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Superior time management and organization; expertise in meeting tight deadlines and tracking projects delivered
  • Takes initiative and is self-motivated
  • Proficient writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Proficient in Workfront Project Management software preferred, not required
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Proficient in LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram
  • Working knowledge of AdvisorStream, Salesforce, Constant Contact, Google My Business, Google Analytics, and/or GoDaddy preferred, not required
  • Exhibits strong interpersonal skills, carries superior commitment to client service, and maintains professionalism

This role will be hybrid in Philadelphia, PA, with the individual working approximately three days per week in-office. This position has potential to include 10% travel to select branch office locations within Janney’s regional footprint.
