Ingram Micro is seeking a highly connected Senior Business Development Manager to accelerate growth within our Refurbished Mobile Device business.


This is not a traditional technology sales role. We are looking for a proven sales leader who understands the secondary mobile device market and has direct experience buying, selling, distributing, or developing business around refurbished smartphones, particularly iPhones and other premium mobile devices.


The ideal candidate brings an established network across carriers, MVNOs, wireless retailers, distributors, wholesalers, device protection providers, trade-in programs, and enterprise mobility organizations. They understand how value is created in the mobile device lifecycle and have a track record of driving revenue growth in the refurbished device ecosystem.


What You'll DoDrive Revenue Growth
  • Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for Ingram Micro's refurbished mobile device business.
  • Identify and close new revenue opportunities across wholesale, retail, enterprise, and channel markets.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed revenue, margin, and growth targets.

Expand Strategic Customer Relationships
  • Build and grow relationships with:

    • Wireless carriers
    • MVNOs
    • Device protection and insurance providers
    • Trade-in and buyback organizations
    • Wireless retailers and distributors
    • Certified refurbished device resellers
    • Enterprise mobility and IT asset disposition providers
  • Leverage your industry network to create new business opportunities and expand market share.


Own the Complete Sales Cycle
  • Prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close new business opportunities.
  • Develop executive-level customer relationships.
  • Create compelling business proposals and negotiate complex commercial agreements.

Drive Market Expansion
  • Identify emerging trends in mobile recommerce, refurbishment, device lifecycle management, and secondary market pricing.
  • Partner with internal teams to align inventory strategy with customer demand.
  • Represent Ingram Micro at industry trade shows, customer events, and networking opportunities.

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of business development, sales, or channel development experience.

  • 5+ years of experience directly selling, distributing, buying, trading, or developing business around refurbished mobile devices.

  • Proven success growing revenue within one or more of the following:

    • Refurbished smartphones
    • Certified pre-owned (CPO) mobile devices
    • Wireless mobility solutions
    • Device buyback and trade-in programs
    • Reverse logistics
    • ReCommerce
    • Mobile device lifecycle management
  • Established relationships within the wireless and secondary mobile device ecosystem.

  • Demonstrated ability to source and close new business opportunities through industry relationships, networking, and strategic prospecting.

  • Strong negotiation, contract, and executive presentation skills.

  • Experience managing complex B2B sales opportunities valued at $1M+ annually.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first year, you will:

  • Expand Ingram Micro's customer footprint within the refurbished mobile ecosystem.
  • Develop new strategic partnerships with carriers, MVNOs, retailers, and wholesalers.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,100.00 - $170,300.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

At Ingram Micro certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus or sales incentives and long-term incentives. These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
