Job description

We have been retained by our client, a leading manufacturing solutions provider, to find a Manufacturing Operations Manager who will oversee daily plant operations and drive efficiency, quality, and workforce performance. This role is responsible for leading multiple departments, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and optimize plant operations – Oversee production, quality, maintenance, procurement, shipping & receiving, and human resources.
  • Ensure operational excellence – Monitor key business metrics, enforce quality standards, and implement cost-effective solutions.
  • Drive workforce performance – Recruit, train, and develop employees while ensuring a productive and disciplined work environment.
  • Strengthen process efficiency – Lead 5S initiatives, continuous improvement efforts, and corrective actions to optimize operations.
  • Collaborate with leadership – Report key performance indicators and operational concerns to executives while executing strategic objectives.

What You'll Bring:

  • 10+ years of experience managing operations in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proven expertise in quality systems, manufacturing processes, preventative maintenance, and procurement best practices.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills with a track record of driving continuous improvement.
  • Ability to analyze and respond to key business indicators to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support operational objectives.
