Power Temp Systems is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead our production and manufacturing operations in Houston, Texas.
This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for overseeing the manufacturing of custom electrical power distribution equipment, including generator docking stations, switchgear, transfer switches, control panels, and other engineered power solutions.
We're looking for a hands-on manufacturing leader who thrives on improving processes, developing teams, and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced, custom manufacturing environment.

Power Temp Systems is a leading manufacturer of engineered electrical power solutions serving a wide range of industrial and commercial customers. Our team designs and builds custom power distribution equipment that supports critical infrastructure and power generation applications across multiple industries.
What You'll Do
As Manufacturing Manager, you will:
  • Lead all day-to-day manufacturing and shop operations.
  • Supervise Mechanical Assembly, Electrical Assembly, and Shop Support teams.
  • Oversee production scheduling, labor planning, and workflow management.
  • Ensure products are assembled, tested, documented, and delivered on time and in accordance with company quality standards.
  • Partner with Engineering, Project Management, Purchasing, Inventory, and Field Service to ensure successful project execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase productivity, improve quality, and reduce costs.
  • Develop, coach, and mentor production personnel and team leads.
  • Remove manufacturing bottlenecks and improve shop efficiency.
  • Monitor KPIs, labor utilization, production schedules, and manufacturing performance.
  • Support prototype builds, design improvements, and new product introductions.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and workmanship standards.

  • 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in a:
    • Manufacturing Manager
    • Production Manager
    • Plant Manager
    • Operations Manager (Manufacturing)
    • Director of Manufacturing role.
  • Proven experience leading manufacturing teams in an industrial environment.
  • Experience managing production schedules, labor planning, and manufacturing operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
  • Demonstrated success improving manufacturing performance through process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and project management teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience manufacturing:
