Job Summary:

Panelmatic Inc. is seeking a strategic and results-driven Manufacturing Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the production processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. They will lead a team of production supervisors, implement process improvements, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong background in manufacturing management and a proven record of accomplishment in improving productivity and quality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing department
  • Lead and mentor a team of production supervisors
  • Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand and production goals
  • Monitor production processes and adjust as needed to ensure efficiency and quality
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize productivity and reduce costs
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Manage and optimize the use of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in manufacturing management
  • Prepare and present reports on production performance and initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing management
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing a team
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality management systems
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and achieving results
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to analyze data and use it to drive performance improvements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus
  • Knowledge of electrical control panel manufacturing is preferred
