Stabil Drill is currently seeking a Full-Time Manufacturing Office Administrator to join our team in Houston, TX on Thomas Road. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create and process manufacturing work orders.
  • Creating projects and sales orders and communicate with customers as needed.
  • Send out quote requests to approved suppliers.
  • Prepare purchase orders for manufacturing and operations, reviewing pricing and appropriate coding, and monitoring internal controls.  
  • Coordinate maintenance and inventory of office equipment/supplies.   
  • Operate a computer workstation to input, update and retrieve data.
  • File and retrieve organizational documents, records and reports.
  • Prepare and maintain reports and schedules integral to the key areas of the operation. 
  • Work with customers and vendors to resolve issues.
  • Answer the telephone and/or greet customers, vendors and other visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Performs special projects as needed.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED) required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience.
  • Experience in Machine Shop Administration preferred. 
  • Equivalent combination of experience and/or training. 

Skills Required:

  • Courteous, proactive, and well-organized professional to provide creative solutions.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem solving skills.
  • Strong desire to work effectively in a team environment and learn the overall business.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
