Position Overview:
The Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor will lead a team of engineering technicians and production personnel to ensure efficient and effective manufacturing operations. This leadership role involves overseeing process development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production capabilities, reduce costs, and maintain product quality. The supervisor will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet organizational objectives and maintain compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor manufacturing engineering technicians and production staff to achieve departmental goals.
  • Lead the development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Coordinate troubleshooting activities to resolve production issues efficiently.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects focused on process efficiency, quality enhancement, and cost reduction.
  • Manage resource allocation, scheduling, and workflow within the manufacturing engineering team.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to support new product introductions and process changes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing engineering role with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principles, and quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
