In Abbott's Electrophysiology (EP) business, we're advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives. **About the Role** The Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor leads a team of Manufacturing Engineers and Engineering Technicians supporting the production of Electrophysiology (EP) catheters in a regulated medical device environment. This role drives daily engineering support, process stability, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement to ensure safe, compliant, and high‐quality products. **What You'll Work On** + Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineers/technicians supporting EP catheter manufacturing. + Prioritize and assign engineering work to meet production, quality, and capacity goals. + Oversee process ownership, documentation, validations (IQ/OQ/PQ), and change control. + Provide hands-on support for line issues, root‐cause investigations, and CAPA activities. + Analyze process data (yield, scrap, SPC, CPK) to improve performance and reduce variation. + Drive continuous improvement, automation, tooling, and process optimization projects. + Ensure all engineering activities comply with FDA QSR, ISO 13485, and Abbott procedures. + Collaborate with Operations, Quality, R&D, and Supply Chain to support product and business objectives. **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, Manufacturing, Electrical, Chemical, or related field). + 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering within medical devices or a regulated industry. + Experience supporting complex assemblies or catheter-based device manufacturing. + Demonstrated leadership capability (team lead, project lead, or formal supervisor). **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience with EP catheters, cardiovascular devices, micro-assembly, polymers, bonding, or braiding. + Strong background in validation, documentation, risk management, and structured problem-solving (DMAIC, 8D, 6σ). + Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment with strong ownership and communication skills. **What We Offer** At Abbott, you can have a good job that can grow into a great career.
