Job description

Currently, we are inviting an ambitious Sales Manager to join our growing USA Sales team. In this position you will work with our Telematics devices portfolio and help to build and develop a new sales team based in New York, US.

Teltonika’s telematics business unit develops and manufactures easy-to-use GPS tracking devices for effective fleet management in such spheres as logistics, agriculture, car sharing, construction, and more. Using the latest  technologies, Teltonika sets new standards for the telematics industry.

In this role you will:

  • Lead, train, motivate and maintain your own sales team representing Teltonika Telematics
  • Execute strategic plans to reach sales targets and expand the customer base
  • Direct and manage the performance and development of your team
  • Actively participate in hiring processes of new members to the team
  • Provide training and counseling for individual team members to ensure targets are met
  • Be taking on the role as a playing coach in all sales processes until your sales team will be strong enough to play independently
  • Maintain internal systems and ensure that all sales specialists fill the systems correctly
  • Contribute to market research, including identifying market potential and finding opportunities for growth
  • Ensure order tracking and correction
  • Coordinate technical inquiries and logistics process

What we expect of you:

  • 2+ years of sales leadership experience selling a hardware product
  • Proven track record of sales achievements (B2B)
  • Experience in building and motivating sales team
  • Results focused, organized with good communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to analyze information, and make decisions independently
