Job description

Sell what you love. For us and millions of users across the globe, that's Spotify. Join the Sales team and you'll build the relationships that help grow our business in existing markets and beyond. We don't just sell creative solutions to our clients and partners, we help to shape them; using our expert knowledge of ad products, sales channels and the industry to impact the way the world experiences music and podcasts.
We're looking for a Client Partner to join our Emerging & Scaled Sales team, one of the fastest-growing teams within Spotify Advertising. In this role, you'll own and grow a portfolio of strategic clients, serving as a trusted advisor who understands their business goals and delivers advertising solutions that drive measurable impact. You'll combine strategic thinking, commercial expertise, and relationship management to develop long-term partnerships while helping advertisers unlock the full value of Spotify's advertising platform.
If you're passionate about digital advertising, thrive in a consultative sales environment, and enjoy building lasting client relationships, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
  • Build and grow strategic relationships with advertisers by understanding their business objectives and delivering consultative, insight-driven recommendations.
  • Own a portfolio of clients and develop account strategies that drive long-term growth, retention, and revenue expansion.
Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities while expanding existing partnerships across your assigned market and vertical.
  • Create compelling sales narratives by leveraging market insights, campaign learnings, audience intelligence, and Spotify's advertising solutions.
  • Meet and exceed advertising revenue goals by developing strategic account plans and proactively identifying opportunities to grow your business.
  • Analyze campaign performance and client data to develop actionable insights and optimization recommendations that improve business outcomes.
  • Develop deep expertise in Spotify's advertising products, platform capabilities, and industry trends to position innovative solutions that align with client objectives.
  • Manage an active sales pipeline, maintain accurate forecasting, and effectively prioritize opportunities across multiple accounts.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams-including Sales Planning, Client Services, Marketing, Product, Measurement, and Data-to deliver exceptional client experiences and maximize campaign success.
  • Contribute to the ongoing evolution of Spotify Advertising by sharing market insights, client feedback, and best practices across the broader sales organization.

Who You Are
  • You have 5+ years of experience managing client relationships and driving revenue within a digital advertising, media, or advertising technology organization. Experience in audio advertising is a plus.
  • You know how to build executive-level relationships and act as a trusted advisor by delivering thoughtful, consultative solutions.
  • You have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets while managing a complex portfolio of clients.
  • You are experienced in developing strategic account plans and identifying opportunities to grow existing business while generating new revenue.
  • You are highly organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • You communicate clearly and confidently, adapting your approach to influence a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • You enjoy collaborating across cross-functional teams and believe strong partnerships create the best outcomes for clients.
  • You care about delivering an outstanding customer experience and using data and insights to inform recommendations and drive results.
  • You approach your work with integrity, curiosity, accountability, and a growth mindset, and you're excited to help shape the future of Spotify Advertising.

Where You'll Be
  • This role is based in New York, NY.
  • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.
  • We ask that you come in 2-3 times per week.

The United States base range for this position is $87,666 - $125,238, plus equity, plus bonus or commission.
