Strategic Growth Marketing Manager - EMEA Retail

Job Title: Strategic Growth Marketing Manager EMEA Retail

Location: Germany, France, the United Kingdom (100% Remote)

Contract: Full Time

Centric Software, a fast-growing, innovation-driven enterprise software company, is seeking a Strategic Growth Marketing Manager to accelerate growth across strategic Retail markets in Europe.

Initially focused on Grocery and Multi-Category Retail (MCR), this role will define and execute growth strategies for priority markets by combining Account-Based Marketing (ABM), targeted demand generation, thought leadership and executive engagement.

Reporting directly to the EMEA Marketing Director, you will act as the strategic marketing lead for these industries, working closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Content Marketing, Field Marketing, Marketing Channel Performance Managers and external agencies to drive pipeline growth across Europe.

Over time, the scope of the role will expand to additional strategic industries including Food & Beverage, Cosmetics & Personal Care and Fashion, leveraging proven methodologies and best practices developed within the Retail segment.

This is a 100% remote position based in EMEA, preferably in Germany, France or the United Kingdom.

You have strong Account-Based Marketing expertise, experience working with enterprise sales organizations, and a passion for developing growth strategies for complex B2B software markets.

Key Responsibilities

Define and execute strategic growth plans

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for strategic Retail industries across Europe, initially Grocery and Multi-Category Retail.
  • Identify market opportunities, customer challenges, competitive positioning and commercial priorities.
  • Translate business objectives into measurable marketing plans aligned with regional sales priorities.

Lead Account-Based Marketing initiatives

  • Own the ABM strategy for strategic European accounts.
  • Coordinate external ABM agencies to execute personalized account engagement programs.
  • Work closely with Sales to define target account strategies, buying committees and engagement plans.
  • Monitor account engagement and marketing contribution to pipeline.

Drive thought leadership and content strategy

  • Define content priorities supporting strategic industries and ABM programs.
  • Coordinate the development of executive content, customer stories, webinars, guides, industry reports...
  • Partner closely with Product Marketing and Field Marketing to ensure consistent messaging and market relevance.

Support targeted demand generation

  • Design nurturing programs supporting strategic markets and target accounts.
  • Ensure campaigns are aligned with buyer personas, account maturity and commercial priorities.
  • Coordinate with Marketing Channel Performance Managers to deliver high-performing multi-channel campaigns.

Deliver strategic market engagement

  • Identify and coordinate a limited number of high-value industry events, executive roundtables and customer engagement initiatives across Europe.
  • Maximize account engagement before, during and after strategic events.

Develop scalable marketing playbooks

  • Capture learnings and best practices from Retail marketing initiatives.
  • Develop repeatable ABM, campaign and content frameworks that can be leveraged across EMEA.
  • Support the progressive expansion of these approaches into additional strategic industries including Food & Beverage, Cosmetics & Personal Care and Fashion.

Success Measures

Success will be measured through:

  • Marketing contribution to qualified pipeline from strategic industries.
  • Engagement and progression of target accounts.
  • Performance of Account-Based Marketing programs against defined objectives.
  • Delivery of integrated marketing programs supporting commercial priorities.
  • Successful execution of strategic events and market initiatives.
  • Effective collaboration with Sales and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 58 years of experience in B2B Enterprise Marketing, with a strong focus on strategic marketing or field marketing.
  • Proven experience developing and executing Account-Based Marketing programs targeting enterprise accounts.
  • Experience working closely with enterprise Sales organizations.
  • Experience coordinating external agencies and cross-functional marketing teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with excellent execution capabilities.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced international environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Pardot (or equivalent marketing automation platform), LinkedIn Campaign Manager and marketing analytics.
  • Willingness to travel for strategic events and customer engagements.
  • Fluent English required. Additional European languages are a plus.

  • This is a home-office-based position. You must be comfortable working remotely and have a designated home office space with a reliable internet connection. Depending on the country and city of residence, offices or coworking spaces are available.
  • Occasional travel is required to support strategic customer engagements, executive events and regional marketing initiatives.
