Job description

Our organization, a fully independent and physician-owned practice specializing in pulmonary, allergy, and sleep medicine, is looking to recruit a full-time Sleep Physician on a partner track. Candidates must possess a medical degree from an accredited institution and hold active Board Certification in Sleep Medicine.
For half a century, we have been the leading provider of pulmonary outpatient services in central Virginia, operating five locations that offer comprehensive pulmonary function tests (PFTs), allergy testing and immunotherapy, as well as biologic therapy dispensing. Our practice features three sleep labs equipped with a total of 12 beds and a robust home sleep testing program. Additionally, we provide inpatient consultative services across seven hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough clinical evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients with sleep disorders.
  • Interpret sleep studies and manage CPAP therapy, oral appliances, medication therapies, and other necessary treatment options.
  • Track patient progress and modify treatment plans as required.
  • Educate patients and their families about sleep disorders, available treatment options, and lifestyle changes to enhance sleep quality.
