Job description

Job Overview:

Omega Relocation LLC is looking for reliable drivers for a great long term in the moving industry. We are currently hiring for Full-time, part-time, and seasonal schedules.

What We Offer:

  • Drivers have the opportunity to earn tips and very attractive incentives.
  • Mentorship program to becoming owner operator in 24 months.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate professionally in English, both verbally and in writing; comfortably interface with our customers
  • Must have great maintenance culture and keep records of driving hours.
  • Move, pack and load customers' items onsite at their place of residence.
  • Drive and lead a team of helpers to complete 1-3 moving/storage jobs per day
  • Maintain responsibility for quality of work done on each job
  • Own responsibility of accurately completing written/paperwork and payment collection

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Moving furniture
  • Carry heavy items
  • Packing
  • Unpacking
  • Loading into trucks
  • Unloading
  • Assembling furniture
  • Disassembling furniture
  • Filling out contracts
  • Communicating with the office management
  • Closing contracts

Job Requirements

  • Standard driver's license (Class C or D)
  • At least 21 years of age with high school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Ability to pass a drug screen
  • Professional attitude and demeanor
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly.
  • Valid Drivers License.
  • Experience with at least one of the following preferred: moving, manufacturing, inventory management, stocking, warehouse, customer service, helper or general labor
  • Weekend availability required

Compensation:

Hourly, mileage, tips and bonuses

Schedule:

  • Monday to Saturday
  • On call
  • Weekends
