What this job involves:
As an Assistant Relocation Project Manager at JLL, you will work as part of the project team, assisting with development of scope and schedule for projects while handling administrative responsibilities and move/project management duties. This role involves ensuring all project documentation is maintained on client or Relocation Management SharePoint sites while receiving and processing client requests. You'll participate in planning meetings with clients, relocation managers, occupancy planning teams, and other key stakeholders while incorporating best practices into projects and ensuring processes are managed according to client and JLL policies and procedures. Your expertise will be essential in managing work orders, small project management, furniture reconfigurations, and space enhancements.
What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Handle administrative responsibilities including meeting minutes, agendas, and project reports while managing action agendas and associated project documentation
  • Ensure all project documentation is maintained on client or Relocation Management SharePoint sites
  • Receive and process client requests while participating in planning meetings with key stakeholders
  • Initiate meetings to review project schedules with vendors and stakeholders
  • Assist with project plans and budgets through collaboration with relocation managers, facility managers, project managers, and construction managers
  • Manage work orders and small project management including furniture reconfigurations and space enhancements
  • Perform data input into CAFM system to maintain occupancy information
  • Manage successfully small relocations (100 people or less) and assist Relocation Manager in large relocations
Required Qualifications:
  • 1+ years practical experience
  • OSHA 10 certification
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ability to utilize Microsoft Office suite of technologies
  • Detail oriented with ability to multi-task and work both in team and independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with executive-level internal and external clients
  • Organizational and detail-oriented with ability to prioritize and manage differing business needs
  • Ability to write clear, concise communication conveying complex messages in easily understood manner
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from accredited institution in Accounting, Business, Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, or Construction Management
  • 2 years as facility coordinator, move coordinator, or similar/related experience in Corporate Real Estate environment
  • Experience in FM:Systems move management module and/or facilities management system
  • Knowledge of construction or commercial real estate industry
  • Familiarity with architectural drawings and furniture and space planning concepts
  • CAPM or ACU certification
  • Understanding of JLL service offerings and business development processes
