Role Summary

T. Rowe Price has an exciting opportunity for a Talent Development Consultant to join its Leadership & Career Development Team. The Talent Development Consultant plays a critical role in advancing leadership capability, strengthening organizational culture, and supporting firmwide talent development priorities. This role provides executivelevel facilitation, designs and manages complex learning programs, and consults with senior business leaders and HR partners on strategies that enhance learning, development, talent readiness, and leadership effectiveness.

The Consultant leads initiatives that require strong facilitation and coaching expertise, endtoend program and project management, and strategic advisory skills. This role evaluates organizational needs, shapes meaningful learning experiences, and ensures that development solutions support both business outcomes and longterm leadership development/talent strategy.

Responsibilities

Facilitation:

Deliver highimpact learning experiences that deepen leadership capability and accelerate development.

  • Facilitate executivelevel programs, leadership development sessions, and enterprise learning experiences.

  • Lead intact team sessions, including workshops on team dynamics, change, conflict, communication, collaboration, and leadership effectiveness.

  • Deliver group coaching sessions focused on leader growth, behavior change, and application of learning.

  • Create an inclusive and engaging learning environment that supports adult learning principles and the needs of diverse audiences.

  • Adapt facilitation approaches in real time to maximize impact and meet varying audience needs.

Program & Project Management:

Direct complex development programs and initiatives from concept through evaluation.

  • Manage the endtoend design, development, execution, and continuous improvement of leadership development programs and enterpriselevel talent development initiatives.

  • Coordinate logistics, communications, vendor partnerships, and participant experience to ensure seamless program delivery.

  • Lead largescale or crossfunctional talent development projects, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and measurable outcomes.

  • Monitor program effectiveness through data analysis, feedback cycles, and performance metrics; recommend evidencebased enhancements.

  • Oversee thirdparty partners and vendors to ensure highquality, costeffective program delivery.

Consultation & Advisory:

Serve as a strategic partner to business leaders and HR Business Partners.

  • Consult with leaders across the organization to understand business priorities related to leadership development, people leadership, learning, talent, and culture.

  • Conduct formal and informal needs assessments and diagnose opportunities to improve capability, engagement, and team effectiveness.

  • Create, develop, and support the implementation of solutions that may include learning programs, leader tools, coaching, team interventions, or broader talent/development strategies.

  • Partner with HR Business Partners to ensure learning and development strategies support talent planning, succession, and organizational goals.

  • Provide thought leadership on emerging trends in learning, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND

  • 8+ years of total relevant work experience in leadership development, learning & development, organizational development, or related fields.

  • Demonstrated expertise in executivelevel facilitation and adult learning.

  • Proven experience managing complex programs or largescale projects.

  • Experience consulting with senior leaders and HR functions

Preferred:

  • Advanced certification in learning or talent development (e.g., ATD Certified Professional in Learning & Performance (CPLP/CPTD)).

  • Experience in group coaching and facilitation of intact team sessions.

  • Background in organizational development, culture work, or leadership coaching.

  • International Coaching Federation (ICF) certification (ACC, PCC, or MCC) and experience providing executivelevel coaching.

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
