Job description

Production Manager - 1st & 2nd Shift (2 openings) Our manufacturing client near Newton, IA is hiring Production Managers for both 1st and 2nd shift operations at their heavy manufacturing facility supporting a 225 person fabrication, welding, assembly, and paint related non-union manufacturing setting. Very solid financials and secure future. Schedule:
  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM
  • Monday-Thursday schedule (4 day work weeks)
This role is responsible for leading daily production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a strong focus on safety, quality, scheduling, employee development, and production performance. Ideal candidates will have:
  • Manufacturing leadership experience
  • Backgrounds in welding, fabrication, assembly, paint, or heavy industrial operations
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills
  • Experience driving accountability and production results
