Description
The Lean Manufacturing Manager is responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations, with a primary focus on eliminating workflow bottlenecks, optimizing operational efficiency, and enhancing overall production performance. This role champions lean principles, fosters cross-functional communication, and ensures high standards of quality and strategic planning are consistently met.
Responsibilities
Lean Strategy & Continuous Improvement
โ€ข Lead the implementation and sustainability of lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping).
โ€ข Identify, analyze, and eliminate workflow bottlenecks to improve throughput and reduce waste.
โ€ข Drive a culture of continuous improvement across all levels of the organization.
Operational Efficiency
โ€ข Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), including cycle time, throughput, downtime, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
โ€ข Optimize production workflows to ensure efficient use of labor, materials, and equipment.
โ€ข Collaborate with production teams to streamline processes and reduce non-value-added activities.
Workflow & Bottleneck Management
