Job description

LSEG is searching for an Account Manager (AM) to lead and grow a portfolio of enterprise financial services clients. The candidate is passionate about client retention, contract renewals, and revenue expansion, while building long‑term, strategic partnerships with customers. This role serves as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts and works closely with internal teams to ensure LSEG solutions deliver measurable value aligned to client business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Own and partner with defined list of key accounts by building positive relationships with clients across their business. Act as a strategic partner and develop a detailed understanding of client workflows, objectives, and challenges. Lead client advocacy internally and champion for client's needs.
  • Retention & Renewal Ownership: Lead the end‑to‑end renewal process for the existing book of business and proactively mitigate renewal risk through the territory. Lead commercial discussions in partnership with internal partners and ensure accurate forecasting and timely renewal execution.
  • Account Growth & Expansion: Identify and qualify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities across LSEG’s product portfolio and deliver growth aligned with regional sales priorities. Partner with Specialist Sales and Product teams to position incremental solutions. Implement a consultative selling approach with passion for long‑term value creation.
  • Account Planning & Strategy: Develop and maintain account plans for key and strategic accounts. Align account strategies to client initiatives such as regulatory change, digital transformation, and operational efficiency.
  • Internal Partnership & Execution: Coordinate across Product, Content, Support, Implementation, and Commercial teams to ensure consistent, high‑quality client communication. Lead internal account reviews and pipeline discussions. Maintain accurate account, pipeline, and forecast data in CRM systems.
Qualifications & ExperienceRequired Experience
  • Experience Consistent track record in Account Management, Sales, or Client Success within a B2B environment.
  • Experience handling enterprise‑level clients.
  • Demonstrated success in renewals and account growth.
  • Ability to work in a matrix sales environment and collaborating across groups.
Preferred Experience
  • Financial services, data, analytics, or technology validated experience.
  • Experience working with large financial institutions.

Compensation/Benefits

Information: LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $141,000 - $235,000. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Variable Incentive Compensation plan. Target variable compensation will be commensurate with the posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
