Job description

Position Summary:

Do you want to help shape the future of JetBlue's onboard digital experience - the seatback screens, Wi-Fi, and tech that make every flight uniquely JetBlue? As a Senior Analyst, Inflight Entertainment, you'll join the team driving innovation behind our customer-facing inflight technology, including our award-winning seatback entertainment and high-speed Fly-Fi. You'll get hands-on experience helping to build new features, analyze data, and support product launches that reach millions of travelers every year. You'll collaborate with creative, tech, and operations teams across JetBlue and with external partners to bring JetBlue's product vision to life. This role is perfect for an organized self-starter who's passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences through technology.

The Senior Analyst Inflight Entertainment reports to the Manager, Product Development and is responsible for contributing to the execution of JetBlue's long-term roadmap across customer-facing digital products onboard. This crewmember should be highly organized and process-oriented with excellent attention to detail, and a go-getter who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Above all, the Senior Analyst should be eager to find opportunities to bring real and measurable value to the JetBlue customer experience and ideate ways to iterate and innovate across JetBlue's inflight digital product portfolio.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on the ongoing development of our next generation seatback entertainment product, including personalization, seatback ordering, partnership integrations, content merchandising, and connected features, ultimately ideating new ways to maximize customer engagement. New functionality should align with emerging consumer-products on the ground, such as streaming platforms
  • Act as the primary owner of both seatback and Fly-Fi feature roadmaps, including outlining requirements, creating timelines, and overseeing the seamless release of new functionality across inflight touchpoints.s
  • Assist in the development of inflight entertainment analytics, pulling reporting on top-performing content and making performance-based recommendations on future content decisions
  • Communicate new features, functionalities and content initiatives to internal teams including Brand, Corporate Communications, and Social
  • Research and share emerging technology and entertainment trends to inform future innovations to the Fly-Fi and entertainment experience across JetBlue platforms
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience 
  • Three (3) years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to solve problems and be solution oriented in a time-constrained environment
  • Available for moderate overnight travel (30%)
  • Able to work flexible work hours and be available for emergency response on short notice
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
  • Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship 

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Experience in product development, digital experience, or customer engagement
  • Strong interest in technology, aviation, and consumer products
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design tools like Figma is a plus

Crewmember Expectations:

  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
  • Able to maintain a professional appearance
  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
  • Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values  of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and Fun
  • Promote JetBlue's #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue's Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy and behavioral standards
  • Identify safety and/or security concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue's confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR))
  • The use of ChatGPT or any other automated tool during the interview process will disqualify a candidate from being considered for the position

Compensation: 

The base pay range for this position is between $66,000.00 and $103,100.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue's total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
