  • Ensure timely disposition of MRB items to support production flow and inventory readiness
  • Collaborate with Receiving, Warehouse, and Inspection teams to ensure proper containment and handling of defective material
  • Support development and execution of incoming inspection plans and inspection training as needed

Problem Solving & Corrective Action

  • Lead supplier root cause investigations using structured methods such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone
  • Drive Supplier Corrective and Preventive Actions (SCAR/CAPA) and ensure effectiveness of containment and long-term fixes
  • Escalate recurring or systemic supplier issues and drive resolution to closure
  • Ensure timely and data-driven responses from suppliers

Supplier Performance Management

  • Develop and maintain supplier scorecards and performance metrics
  • Support and lead supplier QBRs and performance reviews
  • Identify supplier performance gaps and drive improvement actions in partnership with Procurement
  • Contribute to supplier segmentation and performance-based management strategies

Quality Systems & Compliance

  • Support the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO, AS9100, FAA, FDA, and other applicable standards
  • Ensure supplier compliance with internal requirements and customer flow-downs
  • Participate in internal and external audits and ensure corrective actions are sustained
  • Support development of supplier control plans and quality requirements across the product lifecycle

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Partner closely with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Receiving to resolve supplier quality issues
  • Ensure rapid flow of acceptable material into inventory while preventing nonconforming material from entering production
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across supplier and incoming quality processes

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering or Quality Engineering in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience managing supplier nonconformance, MRB, or incoming quality processes
  • Strong working knowledge of 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone root cause analysis methodologies
  • Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills

Bonus Points If You Have:
