Who are we?
IEQ Capital is a Registered Investment Advisor seeking to transform traditional wealth management. Our quest is to integrate the Intellectual and Emotional Quotient, generating exceptional investment results driven by a values-oriented culture that fosters connection and collaboration with our clients. We are an independent, predominantly employee-owned company, adhering to the fiduciary standard to put our clients' interests first. We focus our efforts on helping clients meet their investment objectives without the distractions and limitations that can arise within much larger organizations.
The Role
IEQ Capital is seeking a highly driven Platform Product Manager to join our Platform Team. This role operates at the intersection of business, product, operations, and engineering.
The Platform Product Manager acts as the product owner and execution lead for their domain, owning the roadmap and backlog, translating business needs into well-defined work, driving delivery, and ensuring adoption across CRM systems, data integrations, and internal tools.
We are looking for someone who combines strong project management discipline with systems thinking, product ownership, and the ability to push work forward across teams.
What You'll Do:
Own Platform Initiatives End-to-End
  • Evaluate new ideas and requests from business stakeholders
  • Clarify problems before jumping to solutions
  • Define requirements with clear and measurable business outcomes
  • Translate needs into executable user stories with acceptance criteria
  • Manage initiatives from discovery through release and adoption
  • Drive post-launch feedback and iteration

Own Domain Roadmap & Backlog
  • Maintain a clear domain roadmap and clean, prioritized backlog, aligning priorities with the Head of Platform
  • Balance quick wins with long-term structural improvements
  • Run backlog grooming with developers
  • Ensure user stories are properly scoped for delivery and updated regularly
  • Track delivery progress and unblock issues quickly

Partner with Developers & Admins
  • Translate business requirements into technical-ready work
  • Align on scope before delivery commitments
  • Hold developers accountable to delivery hygiene
  • Manage trade-offs between speed and sustainability
  • Think structurally and understand system constraints.

Drive Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Align and coordinate stakeholders across all departments
  • Manage competing priorities transparently
  • Run project working sessions
  • Identify downstream impacts across systems
  • Ensure handoffs between teams are documented and repeatable

Adoption, Training & Continuous Improvement
  • Create documentation and process maps
  • Run training sessions when new functionality launches
  • Gather structured user feedback
  • Identify workflow breakdowns or adoption gaps
  • Propose iterative improvements
Qualifications
Required
  • 4+ years of experience in Product Management, or in financial services or wealth management with demonstrated ownership of business systems, workflows, or technology initiatives
  • Experience working with CRM systems
  • Strong ability to translate business needs into clear business and system requirements
  • Proven track record of driving initiatives across multiple stakeholders
  • Strong executive communication skills

Preferred
  • Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and data flows
  • Experience acting as a product owner
  • Exposure to workflow automation tools or low-code platforms
  • Experience operating in software delivery environments

Traits We Value
  • Structured thinker who brings clarity to ambiguity
  • Naturally proactive
  • Comfortable pushing for accountability
  • Systems-oriented (thinks upstream and downstream)
  • Comfortable with executive stakeholders
  • Low ego, high ownership
  • Strong written communicator
  • Bias toward simplification
  • Leads with curiosity
  • Always learning
  • No task is too small mindset
Compensation
The total compensation range for this role, inclusive of base salary and bonus, is $110,000 - $150,000, depending on skills and experience.
