About the Role

The Project Manager II ensures exceptional communication and project execution between clients and Olympus Group while managing complex projects within the large format printing, tradeshow, and convention industry. This position serves as the primary liaison between customers, Account Owners, and Operations to ensure projects are completed accurately, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, the Project Manager II coordinates multiple projects simultaneously, proactively communicates project status, resolves challenges, and delivers outstanding customer service. This role supports Account Owners by managing project details, allowing them to focus on developing new business while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of Project Management, Account Management, or Customer Service experience within one or more of the following industries:
    1. Large Format Printing
    2. Tradeshow & Convention Graphics
    3. Commercial Printing
    4. Signage
    5. Visual Communications
    6. Exhibit Fabrication
    7. Experiential Marketing
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer relationship skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize changing customer needs while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and sound decision-making abilities.
  • Experience working with ERP, order management, or production management systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with large format digital printing, fabric graphics, SEG systems, banners, vinyl graphics, rigid substrates, or exhibit displays.
  • Experience coordinating projects across multiple manufacturing facilities.
  • Experience reviewing production specifications, artwork, and customer proofs.
  • Knowledge of shipping and logistics related to tradeshow and convention deadlines.
  • Experience with Epicor ERP or similar enterprise software.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Account Managers across all Olympus Group facilities, enabling them to focus on growing customer relationships and new business opportunities.
  • Become proficient in Olympus Group products, manufacturing processes, ERP system, quoting tools, and company procedures to serve as a knowledgeable resource for customers and internal teams.
  • Develop expertise in Modular Frame Systems and accurately interpret frame drawings and production specifications.
  • Review open orders daily for completeness, accuracy, and production readiness.
  • Monitor project schedules and proactively communicate updates, potential risks, and solutions to customers and internal teams.
  • Follow up on outstanding issues identified by customers, Sales, Production, Purchasing, or other departments to ensure timely resolution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers by understanding project scope, providing recommendations, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Project manage complex customer orders that may involve multiple facilities, vendors, or production departments.
  • Review customer artwork, proofs, specifications, and order details for accuracy prior to approval and production.
  • Assist with order entry and project support during peak workloads or after-hours as business needs require.
  • Create and distribute customer job status reports and communicate project updates proactively.
  • Coordinate customer production viewings and provide project support during plant visits.
  • Act as the liaison between Operations and remote Project Managers whose work is being produced at the Las Vegas facility, including status updates, material availability, approvals, production photos, and outsource vendor coordination.
  • Support Sales and Project Management through various administrative and technology-related initiatives.
  • Build strong working relationships across Sales, Production, Purchasing, Shipping, Customer Service, and other departments to ensure successful project execution.
