General Summary

This position is responsible for delivering operational excellence and ensuring client satisfaction on assigned water well drilling, well rehab or pump installation and repair projects, including engaged people, well-maintained equipment, and exceptional safety.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Perform accurate project revenue and cost forecasting to ensure profitability goals are met.
  • Coordinate with estimators and project controls group to establish budget.
  • Coordinate efforts with business development and operations teams to manage resources to meet project schedule.
  • Participate in bid review and bid closing to ensure accuracy of bid and evaluate project feasibility; work with business development team to develop bid schedule.
  • Generate purchase orders, gather subcontractor and equipment or material quotes, establish relationships with vendors, generate invoices, and keep track of field crew safety credentials.
  • Provide environment where dynamic project communication occurs between Superintendents and Area Manager to ensure work is accomplished in an efficient, profitable, and safe manner.
  • Ensure proper job controls, i.e. quantities, costs, revenue and schedule.
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with owners, agencies, subcontractors, corporate management, inspectors, etc., providing customer service to develop long-term partnerships with the client base.
  • Ensure accurate project reports for the job, allowing for continuous improvement in performance.
  • Run projects at profitability levels to meet or exceed expected margins.
  • Understand, comply with, and support corporate safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment.

    Education and Experience:

  • BS degree preferred
  • 1+ years of project management experience in water well drilling or a construction environment
  • Knowledge of water well drilling or similar industry practices.
  • Maintain the ability to work in a high-production environment.
  • Demonstrated decision-making, excellent leadership, supervisory, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Accuracy at all times.

Base Salary Range:

$79,972.00 - $119,958.00

Pay may vary based upon relevant experience, skills, location, and education among other factors.
