Desmond Couple Therapy, Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team in Wilsonville, Oregon. This remote position offers the flexibility to provide impactful therapy to individuals, couples, and families while being supported by a collaborative and nurturing work environment.

Work Environment

This position is designed to allow for remote work, providing flexibility while maintaining access to our supportive outpatient office infrastructure. As a member of our team, you will be immersed in a positive culture prioritizing teamwork and ongoing professional development. Hours are set from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of modalities tailored to individual client needs, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and family systems therapy.
  • Engage with clients to assess their situations, formulate treatment plans, and evaluate progress throughout the therapeutic process.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate client records while adhering to ethical standards established by the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).
  • Consistently stay updated on advancements in therapeutic practices through continuous education and professional development.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client progress, share insights, and collaboratively enhance treatment approaches.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMFT at Desmond Couple Therapy, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals seeking support for personal growth, couples navigating relationship challenges, and families addressing various dynamics. Your role will directly impact the well-being and relational health of clients, helping them to achieve meaningful transformations in their lives.

Qualifications
  • A valid and active LMFT license in Oregon. LCSW or LPC licenses will also be considered.
  • A master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.
  • Proficiency in delivering evidence-based therapeutic care while establishing strong connections with clients.
  • Comfortable providing both in-person and virtual therapy sessions, utilizing telehealth technologies when necessary.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a therapeutic setting working with individuals, couples, and families.
  • Experience handling complex family dynamics and relationship issues, which will enhance your ability to assist a varied client base effectively.
  • Familiarity with client management systems, telehealth platforms, and documentation procedures will be advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
