All About the Role:

The Senior Manager, Consumer Insights leads the development of consumer-centered insights that drive product innovation, business growth, and brand preference across the Frigidaire and Electrolux portfolios. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to uncover consumer needs, identify emerging trends, and translate research into actionable business and product recommendations. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with consumer empathy, strategic thinking, and persuasive storytelling to influence decision-making and champion a consumer-first mindset throughout the organization. This leader excels in navigating ambiguity, connecting disparate data points, and transforming insights into opportunities that enhance the consumer experience and support long-term business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple consumer research initiatives across product categories, ensuring appropriate methodologies, vendor selection, and timely delivery against business objectives.

  • Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research programs to identify consumer needs, behaviors, attitudes, and emerging market trends.

  • Analyze research findings and consumer data to develop strategic recommendations that support innovation, product development, and business growth.

  • Translate complex insights into compelling presentations and narratives that drive action and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.

  • Partner with product management, marketing, design, engineering, and commercial teams to integrate consumer insights into product and portfolio strategies.

  • Evaluate, negotiate, and manage external research partners and vendors to ensure high-quality deliverables and efficient project execution.

  • Identify and implement innovative research methodologies and tools that enhance consumer understanding and organizational capabilities.

  • Champion a consumer-centric culture by advocating for insights-driven decision-making throughout the product development and commercialization process.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 7+ years of consumer insights, market research, or related experience.

  • Deep understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including research design, execution, and analysis.

  • Proven experience translating consumer research and data into strategic recommendations that influence business, product, or marketing decisions.

  • Strong analytical and presentation skills, with proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and data visualization techniques.

  • Knowledge of consumer, market, and technology trends, with the ability to identify emerging opportunities and inform future business strategies.
