Job Description:

Senior-level Integration Schedulers work with systems engineers and program/project managers to identify and provide current status of the critical path in the NTM schedule and provide leadership with comprehensive integration scheduling activities: developing schedules, collecting and reviewing project and program data for updating and maintaining schedules, conducting critical path analysis, identifying dependencies, conducting predictive analyses, providing comprehensive visualization/reporting, coordinating with stakeholders on integration schedule impacts, and identifying inter-segment dependencies. Senior-Level Integration Schedulers provide definition, planning, and maintenance for robust tools and services to accomplish schedule activity, employing capabilities such as MS Project/Project Server, Primavera, or similar tools. Senior-Level Integration Schedulers lead and oversee regular reporting of schedule information to designated review activities and for leadership awareness.


Duties May Include:

  • Create, manage, maintain and operate an automated enterprise schedule activity using government approved schedule tool (e.g. Microsoft Project/Project Server), to allow for the integration and assessment of schedule files and schedule data from Segments and Offices to support the Program schedule. 
  • Utilize schedule to identify external dependencies, impacts to effectivity timelines, and support actionable communication of these observations to the Government and external sites, as needed.
  • Create various communications artifacts to support weekly/bi-weekly status briefings.
  • Support interfaces with external customer systems, addressing integration directly with necessary NGA Programs of Record and segments.
  • Provide integration scheduling support for the review, preparation, development, and technical exchange for network and infrastructure related RFCs, MOAs, MOUs, and other agreements and change documents, as needed.
  • Coordinate with project teams on schedule impacts and guide solutions/resolution of technical issues, recording lessons learned.
  • Ensure integration schedule across program, segment and project plans, and technical roadmap achieves the delivery of capabilities and effectivities.
  • Lead overall response for Engineering Program meetings both internal and with NGA/NSG, and schedule presentations for projects, programs and activities, by providing reports, Gantt charts, and other visualization products, clearly communicating schedule expectations and/or status.
  • Identify system development milestones that drive phasing of capabilities to meet enterprise epics or equivalent planning timeframes.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain connection of strategic-level and enterprise-level effectivities with lower-level Program/Segment/Project effectivities and milestones.
  • Oversee program/segment/project scheduling, executable technical roadmap development, incremental reviews of schedule milestones and activities, and maintain schedule baselines as directed to ensure an informed enterprise level schedule. 
  • Assure critical path analysis and alternative scenarios are available to identify schedule change impacts, associated risk, and develop mitigation plans. 
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Release Management to facilitate coordinated capability releases.
  • Work with Enterprise MBSE tools to provide input and extract data.


Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related science, technology, and mathematics (STEM) degree; or in Business Administration or related field of study.
  • Senior-level experience with IT technical development project or program scheduling.
  • Senior-level experience developing and analyzing critical path.
  • Demonstrated experience of segment integration, identifying inter-segment dependencies.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in management and operation of Microsoft Project and Project Server for definition, maintenance and reporting of project/program schedule information.
  • Previous IC or DoD program/project experience.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in management and operation of Primavera or similar scheduling tool/service for definition, maintenance and reporting of project/program schedule information.
  • Experience in government or industry in establishing, managing, and/or leading a tool-based, schedule management and reporting process.
  • Experience in government or industry in IT and Information Systems program management, or development and maintenance support procedures or processes.
  • Experience in government or industry leading schedule management for developments using traditional or Agile and Scrum based methodology or application of methods.
  • Project Management Institute-Scheduling Professional Certification (PMI-SP), AACE PSP Certification, or Microsoft Project/Project Server Certification.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing and directing automation of scheduling tasks through preparation of macros, scripts or custom procedures.
  • Previous NGA and/or NSG/ASG program/project experience.
  • Experience with IMS as defined by DI-MGMT-81861 Integrated Program Management Report.
  • Experience implementing MIL-STD-881D Work Breakdown Structures for Defense Material Items.
