Job description

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Manager will lead and oversee the facilities and maintenance operations of three fast-paced facilities, approximately 540 sq. ft., two being manufacturing facilities. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of all facility infrastructure, production equipment, and tooling through comprehensive preventative and corrective maintenance programs. The manager will oversee the full lifecycle of equipment, ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards, and lead sustainability initiatives to align with the company's strategic goals. With a focus on minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity, the ideal candidate will leverage technology, drive process improvements, and collaborate cross-functionally to support operational excellence and future business growth.

This position requires 100% in-office presence in our Jacksonville, FL offices and does not offer remote work. 

Essential Functions

  • Supervise daily operations and maintenance of building systems and facilities.
  • Lead, schedule, and support maintenance staff to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Oversee repairs of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and service providers.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and building regulations.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and inspection reports.
  • Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment; order materials as needed.
  • Develop and manage facility maintenance budgets and control operating costs.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure facilities are clean, functional, and well-maintained for occupants.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance team performance.
  • Coordinate facility renovations, moves, and improvement projects.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are completed according to company standards and timelines.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support operational needs and business objectives.
  • Prepare reports on maintenance activities, expenses, and facility performance for management.
  • The candidate will be expected to perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in maintenance management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of implementing successful preventative and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Strong knowledge of tooling management and tracking systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated career ambition with a track record of growth and increasing responsibility; highly promotable with the potential to take on broader leadership roles within a fast-paced, high-growth organization.
