JOB TITLE: Maintenance Clerk
WAGE RANGE: TBD
DEPARTMENT: Maintenance – Forrester Rd. amp; Main St. Plants
REPORTS TO: Maintenance Manager
Job Summary:
This position entails the procurement and storage of maintenance repair parts and supplies utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS). It includes researching, requisitioning, receiving, documenting, inventorying, and stocking repair parts and supplies at both GFI locations. Works closely with facility Maintenance Supervisors.
Job Requirements:
  • Education Requirements:
    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Proficient in basic math, reading, and writing skills.
  • Skill requirements:
    • Proficient in computer skills for handling work orders, CMMS, e-mail, etc.
    • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with close attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Ability to work cooperatively as a team member.
Job Duties:
Essential Functions -
  • Generate purchase orders for Purchasing.
  • Receive parts, material, and equipment from Shipping.
  • Cross reference, close purchase orders, enter received parts, material and equipment into Deacom.
  • Stock, inventory count and maintain storerooms.
  • Tag new and replacement equipment with asset numbers.
  • Complete re-occurring MRO cycle counts.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Keep shop and work areas neat and clean.
  • Follow all OSHA and company safety policies and rules.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
  • 20-20 vision (may use corrective lenses), ability to see all primary colors.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs. and physically organize and maintain stock storage areas.
