Maintenance & Engineering ManagerSalary up to $150,000 + Bonus + Benefits + Paid Relocation to the Northeast We are recruiting for a visible Maintenance & Engineering Manager to lead maintenance, reliability, and engineering for a 24/7 heavy industry manufacturing operation. This is a small plant. This position is for someone that likes to mentor, train, plan and be involved in daily maintenance operations.You?ll drive safe, efficient performance of equipment, finishing systems, and critical utilities utilizing a skilled technical team and pushing continuous improvement.As the Maintenance & Engineering Manager, your focus will be:Champion safety and enforce LOTO, confined space, hot work, and contractor programsLead maintenance and reliability ProgramsMaximize uptime through preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenanceUse CMMS to plan and prioritize work aligned with productionGuide and mentor mechanics, electricians, and technicians through training and developmentLead outages, shutdowns, and capital projectsProvide mechanical, electrical, and automation technical leadershipControl budgets and manage critical spare parts strategyOversee vendors, OEMs, and contractors for quality and compliance.Minimum requirements for this Maintenance & Engineering Manager?s position:BS Mechanical Engineering preferredMinimum of 8 years in heavy manufacturing industryLeadership experience in a unionized settingStrong knowledge of mechanical / reliability practicesWorking knowledge PLC/DCS systems, and Lean tools.Note: Excellent opportunity for a candidate ready to move up to a manager position, someone who likes to be hands on , or someone who truly just likes to mentor/plan and is mechanical savvy.
