Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Logistics Engineer (Level 2)/Principal Logistics Engineer (Level 3) to join its team in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel Program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.

What you will get to do:

The successful candidate will:

  • Perform logistics analysis and maintenance planning of the Sentinel platform.
  • Review, analyze, prepare, and modify provisioning data.
  • Documentation (PTD) and related data in accordance with Northrop Grumman procedures.
  • Use provisioning data to identify, select, catalog and determine support material requirements, and in the development of Provisioning Parts List and design Change Notifications.
  • Provide support for modifications, reviews, and updates to any of the above existing lists.
  • Attend and support provisioning meetings and conferences and perform other functions as directed.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, communications skills, be self-motivated, understand and exhibit a strong teamwork ethic and approach.
  • Work closely with other IPT's (Integrated Product Teams), Design Engineering IPT's, Configuration Management, Systems Engineering, and Technical Publication Writing teams.

Basic Qualifications:

This position may be hired at the Logistics Engineer or Principal Logistics Engineer levels depending upon applicant qualifications.

Logistics Engineer (level 2):

  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 2 years of applicable engineering experience.
  • Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite - Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word

Principal Logistics Engineer (level 3):

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, software engineering discipline or other STEM field of study or a master's degree and 5 years of related experience master's degree with 3 years. PhD with 1 year.
  • Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite - Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with MIL-HDBK 1388-2B and GEIA-STD-0007
  • Experience with Raytheon EAGLE Database or SLIC wave or equivalent
  • Experience with Teamcenter
  • Aerospace / ICBM maintenance or supply experience

This position's standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Primary Level Salary Range: $59,600.00 - $89,400.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $73,900.00 - $110,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
