Are you a natural communicator who thrives on building relationships and achieving results? Do you have the drive to break into sales and grow your career in the fast-moving world of transportation and logistics? If so, New Age Logistics wants to meet you!

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you’ll be on the front lines of our business — identifying new opportunities, connecting with potential clients, and introducing them to our drayage, intermodal, and full truckload (FTL) transportation services. You’ll develop your sales skills through high-volume outreach and one-on-one collaboration with company leadership — setting the stage for growth into a Business Development Manager (BDM) role, based on performance, sales acumen, and business understanding.


Essential Job Duties

  • Drive new business growth through high-volume outbound calling and prospect engagement
  • Identify and qualify leads across diverse industries by uncovering shipping needs and decision-maker contacts
  • Present New Age Logistics’ drayage, intermodal, and FTL solutions with confidence and professionalism
  • Capture and track prospect activity in our CRM system to ensure accurate reporting and follow-up
  • Schedule introductory calls and hand off qualified leads to senior leadership
  • Collaborate directly with the President of New Age Logistics to refine outreach strategies and improve results
  • Learn the ins and outs of freight brokerage and logistics while hitting key performance goals
Requirements:


Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Interest in a sales career within the logistics industry
  • Experience in customer service, hospitality, telemarketing, or other fast-paced, people-facing roles
  • Strong computer skills and technically savvy
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Demonstrated resilience and comfort with high-volume outreach and rejection
  • High degree of accountability and persistence
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet daily activity goals
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Team player
  • Eager to learn and open to different methods of execution
  • Strong time-management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent persuasion skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Travel is required based on operational and customer needs


Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field
  • Participation in college-level athletics or other high-discipline extracurriculars
  • Experience using CRM software (i.e., Salesforce)
  • Bilingual, English/Spanish
