Job description

POSTION OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
This role will be responsible for loading, unloading, stacking, sorting and segregating, and case picking product. This role may operate a pallet jack to accomplish some of the tasks above.
1st Shift: M-F 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
  • MUST BE ABLE TO CLEAR A PRE EMPLOYMENT BACKROUND AND DRUG SCREEN
  • Following proper handling procedure for products within the facility
  • Working with accuracy and attention to detail on product orders
  • Maintaining and working in a safe manner, in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards
  • Palletizing goods and materials to put on trucks for transportation
  • Successfully completing assigned tasks through coordination and teamwork with fellow warehouse employees and leaders
  • Performing other duties as needed

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school graduate or general education degree (GED) from an accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be capable of learning and retaining the skills needed to work in a safe, productive manner
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Must possess have a solid work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills?
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends occasionally as required?
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and change direction mid-stream

JOB LEVEL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Warehouse Operator I:
  • 0-4 years' experience in a warehouse
  • Forklift experience preferred but not required.
  • Warehouse experience preferred but not required.
  • Warehouse Operator II:
  • 3-4 years of stand-up forklift experience required.
  • Understands the ability to move products in/out of a warehouse and can operate efficiently and safely.
  • Warehouse Operator III:
  • 5 years or more of forklift experience required.
  • Ability to operate a reach truck or high reach truck required.
