Summary
The Logistics Assistant II will be responsible for assisting in the logistics process to meet all necessary requirements including government contracts related paperwork, expediting, and coordinating shipments based on customer's needs. In this role, the Logistics Assistant II will closely collaborate with internal departments of Supply Chain and Operations.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of shipments and on-time-delivery to customers, prioritizing request to meet critical deadlines and program timelines.

  • Ensure that all hazmat shipments are properly identified, packaged and documented.
  • Process shipments in MRP and identify any clear any issues that may impact shipment confirmation.
  • Effectively manage and prioritize logistics tasks per customer needs in a complex and dynamic environment, supporting the needs of multiple programs.
  • Process incoming RMAs in MRP system and see the process through completion.
  • Responsible for AES filing and export documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or related field is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management within regulated environment (aerospace, defense)
  • Knowledge of relevant compliance requirements.
  • Experience working with government contracts or defense-related programs preferred.
  • Proven experience in prioritizing and managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in logistics and supply chain software systems (Oracle)

  • Familiarity with export compliance and international shipping regulations.
  • Able to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, where small teams share a broad variety of duties

The salary range for this role is:
$22 - $33
