Job description

SUMMARY: The Concessions Logistics Assistant's responsibilities include checking in hourly employees and non-profit group volunteers on event days, ensuring all know where to go and are in proper uniform, staying in constant communication with Concessions Leadership to make shifts as needed. Additionally, this position will assist with product distribution from Warehouse to Concessions locations as Concessions staff calls down to the warehouse for restocks, managing inventory Dashboard for up-to-date inventory levels across the operation, and efficient dispatch of warehouse staff from event level to operation with product.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Represent Food and Beverage at Check-In at all events, ensuring a smooth and efficient process to get staff and volunteers in the building.
  2. Keep track of major shortages in Concessions locations and communicating with leadership to help react early and be prepared for event opening.
  3. Serve as a point person for Concessions staff to call in Warehouse for product and technician needs as they arise during events. Take calls on landline phones, input transfers into inventory management system, and dispatch warehouse crew with product to be delivered upstairs in conjunction with the Warehouse Supervisor
  4. Take phone calls from Concessions staff looking to close out for the night, comparing inventory usage to POS sales to assign recounts as necessary.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2 years of professional work experience
  • Experience in Administration, Finance, Data, similar
  • Quick to learn business operations, functions, and processes
  • Proficient in computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office (specifically Excel), Email, Database Management
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize appropriately
  • Proven experience supporting business leaders with tasks and prioritize tasks for business need level
  • Strong analysis skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills to be used to interact proficiently with all levels of management and staff.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must demonstrate discipline, self-reliance, dependability, and good judgment
