Job description

Assistant Property Manager (Career Growth Opportunity)

Build a Career. Not Just a Job.

AustinVestors is one of Central Texas' fastest-growing residential property management companies, managing more than 650 homes throughout the Austin area.

We're looking for an organized, customer-focused professional who wants to build a long-term career in property management.

This isn't just an administrative position. Our Assistant Property Managers are trained to become Property Managers and future leaders within our company.

If you're looking for a company that invests in your growth, we'd love to meet you.

Growth Opportunity

We're intentionally building future Property Managers.

Successful Assistant Property Managers have the opportunity to advance into Property Manager positions with significantly higher earning potential and leadership responsibilities.

If you're looking for a company where you can grow over the next several years instead of staying in the same position, we'd love to talk with you.

Compensation:

$60,000 - $65,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

You'll work directly alongside one of our Property Managers to oversee approximately 300-350 residential homes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build positive relationships with residents
  • Coordinate lease renewals
  • Communicate with owners and residents
  • Coordinate maintenance requests
  • Schedule vendors and inspections
  • Process move-ins and move-outs
  • Prepare lease documents
  • Maintain accurate records in AppFolio
  • Help create an exceptional resident experience

Qualifications:

We care far more about attitude than previous property management experience.

Our ideal candidate is:

  • Exceptionally organized
  • Professional and dependable
  • Friendly and confident communicating with customers
  • Calm under pressure
  • A strong problem solver
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities
  • Detail oriented
  • Motivated to build a long-term career

Property management experience is helpful but not required.

Customer service, hospitality, banking, real estate, apartment management, and administrative experience are all valuable backgrounds.
