NOW Courier is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Independent Contractor to handle a dedicated linehaul route within our established South Bend, IN operation. This is a consistent, high-revenue overnight opportunity requiring a Box Truck with Liftgate. This route offers steady miles and a predictable schedule, making it ideal for drivers looking for reliable weekly earnings.

Your Mission
  • Deliver with Clockwork Precision: Ensure timely pickup and delivery between South Bend, Ft. Wayne, and Indianapolis while maintaining NOW Courier's reputation for reliability.
  • Route Mastery: Follow a structured overnight linehaul route, ensuring efficiency and consistency across all stops.
  • Operational Excellence: Safely transport freight and handle all deliveries with care and accuracy.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Adapt quickly to route changes, delays, or operational needs to keep deliveries on track.
Route Details & Schedule (South Bend Linehaul)
  • Compensation: Averaging $1,350/week
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday
  • Start/End Time: 9:00 PM start, ending around 5:00 AM or upon completion
  • Required Vehicle: Box Truck with Liftgate
  • Weekly Mileage: Approximately 2,100 miles
  • Daily Stops: Approximately 5 stops per route
  • Geographical Area: South Bend Ft. Wayne Indianapolis Ft. Wayne South Bend (round trip)

Requirements

  • Must be 21+ years old with a valid driver's license.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle and smartphone.
      • The vehicle must be 2013 model year or newer that is suitable for delivery. The vehicle must be in good working condition, maintain a professional appearance, be rust-free and pass a multi-point vehicle inspection
      • Candidates must possess a Box Truck with Liftgate
  • Must carry active auto insurance and be willing to carry commercial auto insurance with a minimum of $300,000 combined single limit liability
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Pre-Employment Screening: You must successfully pass a comprehensive pre-employment process before beginning work, which includes a:
      • Driving History Review (past 36 months)
      • Criminal Background Check
      • Substance Abuse (Drug) Screening
