Desi Fresh Foods is a leading "cultured" dairy manufacturer with over 23 years of experience. We produce high-quality and consistent products, which include yogurt (Dahi or Indian, Greek and traditional), smoothies / yogurt drinks, sour cream, and dips from single serve options to food service side. We are currently seeking a skilled Line Operator to join our team at our facility in Winchester, Virginia!
About the Role
As a Line Operator at our yogurt processing facility, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining filling machines to ensure efficient and accurate packaging of yogurt products. Your ability to follow machine standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to quality and safety policies is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our production process
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Machine Operation:
    • Operate filling machines according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure efficient and precise packaging of yogurt products.
    • Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain optimal production output and quality.
  2. Quality Assurance:
    • Follow quality control policies and procedures to ensure that products meet established standards.
    • Conduct visual inspections of filled containers for defects or abnormalities and take corrective action as needed.
    • Monitor product weights and adjust filling parameters to maintain consistency and accuracy.
  3. Safety Compliance:
    • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating filling machines and working in the production area.
    • Report any safety hazards, incidents, or near misses immediately to the appropriate personnel.
