Job description

Do you have at least 6 months of manufacturing experience and want to build a long-term career in a highly respected industry?  

This Production Line Operator role with a well-established aerospace manufacturer could be a great opportunity for you.

This company produces precision metal castings for major aerospace and industrial clients and has been operating in the Portland area for more than 80 years.

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity offering full benefits upon permanent hire, quarterly bonuses, and growth potential.

Production Line Operator Job Duties:
• Clean and prepare castings using chemical baths, rinses, and drying ovens
• Test and maintain chemical tanks to keep levels within required specifications
• Submerge and handle castings safely using hoists, tumblers, and manual tools
• Apply fluorescent penetrant and prepare parts for inspection
• Complete basic documentation and maintain cleanliness of work area

Schedule: Training on day shift, Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm
- After training must be open to day, swing, or graveyard shifts 

Pay: $25.14 per hour

Production Line Operator Job Requirements:
• 1 year experience required in a manufacturing, construction, or production environment 
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working around chemicals and industrial equipment
• Must have HS diploma or GED 
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills
