Job description

Plating Line Operator

Acme Manufacturing has an opportunity available for a Plating Line Operator. This position has an hourly rate of $21.00 per hour, with 6 hours of guaranteed overtime each week, and an average $3 extra per hour in production-based bonuses. The workweek for this position is overnight,ย full-time (46 hours per week) Monday โ€“ Thursday, 7pm โ€“ 7am (paid overtime each week, followed by a 3-day weekend). This position will work on-site at our facility nearย I-70 and Monaco.

Base pay: $21.00 per hour, with production bonuses that average an extra $3 per hour and 6 hours of overtime each week. That is up to $1,173.00 per week!

Shift:ย Overnight, 7:00pm โ€“ 7:00am, Monday โ€“ Thursday.

Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, 401(k), and paid holidays and vacation.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:ย 

The primary responsibility of our Plating Line Operators is to load and unload racks of threaded rod for our zinc plating line. This is a physically demanding position, requiring standing for the majority of a 12-hour shift and lifting bundles of threaded rod by hand,ย that canย weighย up toย 50-70lbs.

Who we are seeking in an applicant:ย 

The idea candidate for this position will have a mind for safety, ability to lift 50-75lbs continuously, and willingness to work 4, 12-hour shifts. We are willing to train a candidate with the right attitude. Basic qualifications include:

  • Being 18 years of age or older.
  • Able to lift up to 50-75lbs.
  • Willingness to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products.
  • Ability to work safely around industrial equipment.
  • Desire to enjoy a 3-day weekend every week.
