Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Line Operator to join our team. The Production Line Operator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the food production line. This includes setting up, operating, and maintaining production equipment, monitoring, and adjusting production processes, and performing quality checks to ensure products meet our standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to producing high-quality food products. The pay for this position is $10.00 with a $0.50 increase at 60 and 120 days.
Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, and maintain production equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor production processes and make necessary adjustments to ensure product consistency and quality.
  • Perform regular quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and take corrective action as needed.
  • Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any production issues that arise.
  • Load and feed packaging materials and other supplies into machines
  • Monitor the production process and perform regular quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Provides sanitary assessment and cleaning of area assigned.
  • Always be aware of surroundings while working in the plant as duties include possible exposure to steam, water, moving machinery, mechanical parts, and forklifts.
  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations and protocols.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in food production or a similar manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 55 lbs.
  • Capability to perform in both hot and cold plant environments.
