Description:

Jimmy's Gourmet Bakery is seeking dependable and motivated Line Operators for the morning shift (7 AM- 3 PM) and evening shift (3 PM- 11 PM) to join our Production team. This cross-trained position is responsible for operating and monitoring multiple pieces of production equipment throughout the cookie manufacturing process, including mixers, depositors, ovens, icing equipment, and packaging machinery. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and committed to producing high-quality products while maintaining efficiency and food safety standards. 

Requirements:
  • Operate and monitor production equipment, including dough mixers, dough depositors, ovens, frosting applicators, and packaging equipment. 
  • Follow daily production schedules to ensure production goals are met. 
  • Maintain product quality by following company specifications and food safety standards. 
  • Monitor production to minimize scrap and maximize product yield. 
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns. 
  • Set up, change over, clean, and sanitize equipment as needed. 
  • Accurately complete production and quality documentation. 
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. 
  • Work closely with production team members and other departments to ensure efficient operations. 
  • Follow all GMP, food safety, and company safety policies at all times
  • Previous manufacturing or food production experience preferred. 
  • Experience operating or learning multiple types of production equipment. 
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products. 
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
