Job description

Revolution is now hiring Line Operators to support its Shelbyville, TN location. Hands-on position leading stretch-film production line(s). Will be involved in the production, product inspection, stocking, packaging, and labeling operations.
  • Ensure a safe and orderly work environment and comply with all established safety guidelines.
  • Organizing and securing materials such as resin, boxes, and finished products.
  • Performing routine post and pre-inspections to ensure suitable working nature of forklift.
  • Ensure products meet or exceed quality guidelines.
  • Ensures proper core extension, target roll weights, roll widths, and quality roll edges.
  • Performs and understands how to do all QA tests.
  • Maintains a scrap rate of <4%.
  • Good working knowledge of the NDC, how to correctly adjust die bolts, efficiently troubleshoot gauge bands, roll edge quality problems, shim out die lines, and any other lines issues.
  • Operate computer systems associated with production lines, as needed.
  • Complete and maintain required logs and records. Fill out the Production Report in its entirety.
  • Use quality instruments and accurately document testing results.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned from Supervisor.

Qualifications
  • Prior production and/or manufacturing experience.
  • Must be flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to read and interpret measurements using a tape measure.
  • Team player willing to take on additional responsibility as needed to meet customer orders and expectations.
  • Dependable, fast learner, good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work overtime as needed and on short notice.
