A Line Cook must consistently arrive on time and be well groomed in a clean uniform. He or she must adhere to policies and procedures laid out by management. Also, must produce consistently good food the way it is supposed to be prepared. 

Position overview:

  • Line Cook cleans and sanitizes the work area before, during, and after the shift
  • Line Cook practices sanitary and safe food handling at all times
  • Line Cook sets up workstation
  • Line Cook prepares all food according to recipes, plate presentations, and specifications
  • Line Cook completes all assigned prep work within assigned timelines
  • Line Cook completes assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects
  • Line Cook completes other job duties as assigned by the Manager
