Job description

Branch Line in Watertown, MA is looking for a Line Cook to join our growing restaurant group. Our ideal candidates are self-driven, ambitious, engaged and passionate about rotisserie chicken.
Branch Line is a neighborhood rotisserie with craveable chef food, craft beverages, confidence and unselfconscious familiarity.
This is a great position for a motivated, organized line cook who wants to develop and fine tune culinary skills in a professional kitchen. Many opportunities for growth within the company!
Line Cook Responsibilities:
  • Execute day to day culinary operations
  • Utilize produce, dairy, seafood & high quality ingredients with pride
  • Uphold kitchen sanitation standards pertaining to food safety
  • Assist in the development and protocol around established menu items
  • Use standardized recipes and plate presentations
  • Work alongside cooks every day, leading by example
  • Work with FOH team to create a memorable experience for guests
  • Contribute to important elements of operations including takeout, delivery, events + catering

Additional Lead Line Cook Responsibilities:
  • Inside expo
  • Closing prep lists
  • Leadership of the team by setting an example

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in culinary arts, cooking or other related field
  • Passion for food and cooking techniques
  • Interest in teamwork and personal growth
  • Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 30 lbs.
