Job Title: Liner Assistant

Pay Rate: $17/hr.

Shift: 7 AM - 3:30 PM

Summary/Objective

Entry Liner Associates perform general duties in the Chimney Liner manufacturing shop with focus on quality and efficiency. Duties may include coiling and boxing liners, properly reading measuring tools, moving around inter-departmental, filling customer orders promptly, working closely with supervisor or team lead, and general housekeeping.


Essential Functions

โ€ข Coil & box liners

โ€ข Use coil liner machine

โ€ข Help build pre-insulated (PI) liner inventory by applying insulation

โ€ข Build Liner kits

โ€ข Shape oval liners, and box long liners and shaped liners

โ€ข Operate assigned machines in order to ensure correct dimensions of liners

โ€ข Ensure exact measurements while making liners

โ€ข Complete work orders to specific directions

โ€ข Operate assigned machines in order to ensure correct dimensions of liners

โ€ข Operate basic hand tools and powered hand tools, e.g., grinders, drills, etc.

โ€ข Ensure all safety guards are in place at all times of operation

โ€ข Handle raw materials - within the shop and outdoors as required

โ€ข Perform work safely and follow established work procedures

โ€ข Report equipment that requires servicing or repair

โ€ข Perform regular housekeeping duties

โ€ข Other duties as assigned

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
