Expandable Liner Hanger Procurement Specialist
Houston, TX /Katy, TX, Full-Time
At Enventure Global Technology, we are shaping the future of well construction through our innovative Expandable Liner Hanger systems, including our flagship EN-Force™ technology.
We are looking for a Procurement Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment and is passionate about building strong supplier partnerships while supporting critical well programs.
This role is critical to support growth of Expandable Liner Hanger product line (EN-Force™), increasing supplier complexity and global sourcing needs and ensuring on-time delivery for active well programs
Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and manage supply of float equipment (float shoes, float collars, auto-fill floats) and associated downhole completion components as required.
  • Maintais deep knowledge of premium and semi-premium thread connections (e.g., VAM, TenarisHydril, and similar) and manages vendor relationships for premium OCTG and connection suppliers.
  • Procure a broad range of materials including alloy and carbon steels, elastomers, seals, hardened components, and specialty metals used in downhole tool manufacturing.
  • Initiate and maintain accurate Purchase Orders ensuring materials and services will be delivered on schedule, at negotiated price, and meeting required quality standards.
  • Negotiate pricing, lead times, and contractual terms with approved suppliers within the solid expandable liner hanger and well completion supply chain.
  • Contact vendors regarding order status and discrepancies (e.g., quantity, quality, dimensional conformance, material certifications).
  • Leverage ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics preferred) to fulfill production and inventory requirements for expandable liner hanger and related product lines.
  • Perform procurement duties for R&D projects (e.g., issues POs, follows up, expedites, tracks status for prototype and qualification hardware).
  • Develop and maintain a strong, diversified vendor network for expandable liner hanger components, float equipment, and premium connections to ensure supply continuity and competitive pricing.
  • Qualify new suppliers in coordination with Quality and Engineering teams to expand the approved vendor list (AVL).
  • Facilitate routing of raw material for production orders and ensures proper communication among engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams.
  • Maintain internal customer service focus, demonstrating urgency and timely communication when supporting active well programs and critical delivery schedules.
  • Assist with monitoring procurement performance metrics and identifies areas for process improvement, cost savings, and lead time reduction.

Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • 5-8 years' experience in supply chain or procurement, with a minimum of 3 years specifically in oilfield services, well construction, or downhole tool manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of solid expandable liner hanger systems, including expansion mechanics, liner top packer design, float equipment, premium thread connections, and associated downhole completion components.
  • Familiarity with OCTG product forms, alloy and specialty material grades, and applicable API/ISO specifications (API 5CT, API 11D1, API 19D, etc.).
  • Established vendor network within the expandable liner hanger, float equipment, and premium connection supply base is strongly preferred.
  • Strong ERP system skills; Microsoft Dynamics experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of recordkeeping, purchasing procedures, and import/export compliance for oilfield equipment.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, material certifications (MTRs), and contractual documents.
  • Ability to prepare statistical reports and procurement performance analyses.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors, engineers, and operations personnel.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
