Sales Engineer, Life Science, Korea
-Drive profitable sales growth in Bio-pharm & Medical sector of South Korea aligned with the Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group strategy and the Spirax Sarco Engineering plc (SSE) core values.
-Derive and implement WMFTS strategic objectives as agreed with the Life Science Sales Engineer of Korea.
-Achieve the above through collaboration with the Korea Life Science Leader or North-East Asia (Japan +Korea) Life Science Sales Manager.
Key tasks and Responsibilities
-Meet or exceed sales and profit targets for Korea using all the facilities, sales and marketing resource available within the planned expenditure.
-Manage to ensure sales support team, re-sellers/3rd parties, and their sales forces are well trained in our product lines, technically and in selling, and motivated, and that monitoring systems are put in place to ensure that sales engineers selling efficiencies can be increased.
-Comply with all aspects of Group policy and procedures as required.
-Ensure regional customer needs are understood and met, growth opportunities identified and the WMFTS Customer Value Propositions are appropriately presented.
-Work with Group Supply to ensure the appropriate level of factory technical and commercial support is given to Customers, sector sales managers and sales engineers, sales support team, and resellers in the region.
-Advise upon and oversee the implementation of new product launches and sector focused marketing campaigns for Korea.
-Provide orders and sales forecast updates and business reporting on performance compared to Plan and prior year, as required.
-Report to the Korea Life Science Leader, for any changes needed to promote an increase in sales, offering insight into new opportunities, market/sector developments, competitor activity, product enhancements and any changes needed for the betterment of WMFTG in Korea.
