To Enable Brighton Science's Sales Team to generate an increase in 50% of new business opportunities and support Key Account Rep activities while learning the Brighton Science sales process.

Job Duties:

The BDR supports and helps create the top of our sales funnel. You will need to contact and qualify marketing leads as sales-ready, set appointments for the Regional Reps, support Key Account Reps doing account and industry research, as well as participate in shadowing seasoned regional/key account representatives.

You will be supported with a unique story, the right prospecting tools, target account lists, and contacts giving you the tools you need to succeed. Being comfortable talking to engineers and manufacturing professionals is important. Through this work, you will learn the Brighton Science Sales Process.

Our founder and Chief Scientist is a thought leader in this space. This means that Brighton Science has developed something new and exciting that potential prospects have never thought about before. This is not a normal BDR role!

The position reports to the Sales Manager and will provide opportunities for career advancement as the company grows.

Qualifications:

The candidate will have 1+ years of professional experience

Sales Experience

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required

Strong communication skills (verbal, written)

Key Goals for A BDR

  • Use Prospecting Strategies to lead initial outreach to potential customers
  • Identify and understand the needs and challenges of the prospective customer
  • Determine the prospect's interest in Brighton Science’s solutions and connect them with a Regional Rep
  • Increase MQL conversion rate
  • Achieving and/or exceeding Discovery Meeting KPI’s
  • Develop Selling Skills

 Key Activities for A BDR

  • Setting discovery meetings with potential customers and Regional Reps
  • Execute Multi-channel outreach campaigns
  • Generate interest and enthusiasm in Brighton Science through outreach
  • Execute focused support for Key Account Managers
  • Call, Email, Inmail potential prospects

Information Security / Quality Management System 

  • Understand and comply with all Information Security and Quality Management System policies and procedures with a commitment to providing feedback and recommendations as appropriate
