Job description

Customer Success Executive

We are seeking a Customer Success Executive to own the relationship, roadmap, and delivery of Hippocratic AI's Voice Agent platform for pharmaceutical and life sciences clients. This role sits at the intersection of our customers, our AI technology, and the pharma regulatory environment — you will be the trusted strategic partner to pharma and life science stakeholders, translating their clinical, commercial, product, business and compliance needs into a clear program plan and ensuring flawless execution.

The ideal candidate combines deep pharmaceutical industry knowledge (commercial, medical affairs, drug safety, patient services, clinical trials) with strong AI fluency (LLMs, NLU, voice agents, conversational AI) and the consultative presence to command a room of senior pharma executives. You understand the pharma product lifecycle, can speak credibly about AI model validation and safety guardrails, and have a passion for deploying AI solutions that improve patient outcomes while meeting pharma and regulatory standards.

This role is expected to be in our Palo Alto office five days a week, unless otherwise specified.

What You'll Do
  • Serve as the primary strategic advisor to pharmaceutical and life sciences clients, building trusted relationships with business, product, medical affairs, commercial, and marketing leaders
  • Lead executive-level engagements including strategic planning sessions, business reviews, and joint roadmap workshops with client stakeholders.
  • Co-develop and maintain a client-aligned implementation roadmap with milestones, and deployment timelines across agreed upon use cases
  • Drive end-to-end program delivery by coordinating across HAI internal teams and pharma client counterparts
  • Champion a voice-of-the-customer feedback loop, synthesizing client insights to influence Hippocratic AI's product roadmap and prioritization.
  • Collaborate with engineering marketing and sales to develop case studies, white papers, and client success stories that demonstrate value and drive pipeline.
  • This role requires a minimum of 25-40% travel to client sites, industry conferences and partner meetings, which may include overnight or out-of-state trips.
What You Bring

Must-Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in client-facing roles such as management consulting OR customer success or strategic account management, or program delivery, with at least 3 years serving pharmaceutical, life sciences, medtech or biotech clients.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is required.
  • Demonstrated track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder engagements with pharma or life sciences organizations from scoping through delivery and post-launch adoption.
  • Understanding of the pharma product lifecycle and at least one of the following: commercial operations, medical affairs, drug safety/pharmacovigilance, patient support hub services, drug information, clinical trial operations, or market access workflows.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain executive-level client relationships and influence senior decision-makers.
  • Excellent executive communication and presentation skills; ability to distill complex technical concepts into compelling business narratives for non-technical audiences.
  • Hands-on experience navigating pharma-regulated environments and collaborating directly with legal, compliance, and quality assurance stakeholders on technology deployments.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or PhD) in life sciences, health informatics, business, or a related field.
  • Background in consulting (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Deloitte, Accenture Life Sciences) or strategic advisory roles within pharma.
  • Existing network of relationships within pharma/life sciences decision-making organizations.
  • Experience with pharma supplier qualification processes, computerized system validation, or SaMD regulatory frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of AI and digital technologies, with the ability to credibly engage both technical and business stakeholders. Understanding of how these solutions apply within regulated industries, including safety, validation, and governance considerations.
