Library Page (YDL-Michigan Location)
DATE: June 9, 2026
POSITION: Library Page (Part-time: 12 - 19 hours per week)
NATURE OF WORK:
Under the general supervision of the Branch Manager, the Library Page efficiently and accurately shelves library materials, re-shelves misplaced materials, straightens shelves, and performs other related tasks
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or GED or qualified 16-year-old with work permit
  • Ability to learn Dewey Decimal System
  • Ability to file books and other library materials alpha-numerically
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively with others
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, and approachable

HOURS: Part-time, 12 - 19 hours per week (including regularly scheduled evening and weekend hours).
SALARY/BENEFITS: Hourly wage: $13.73
