Standard Hours: 40.00
Shift: Shift 1

Monday through Friday - 8 am to 430pm no holidays or weekends

Job Summary:

The Physician Liaison Manager leads team that fosters external provider relationship development and alignment within a complex, matrixed health system across Service Lines, services, programs and initiatives, translating organizational strategic goals and priorities into enterprise-wide referral growth initiatives. Collaborating with clinical leaders and internal teams, focuses on current and potential referring providers to introduce enterprise capabilities and enhance their referral experience to increase referrals, expand the patient base and drive revenue growth.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in health care or health care sales, including a minimum of 2 years of team management required.
A minimum of 3 years of proven track record of sales team leadership is preferred.

Health care experience is preferred.
Academic medical center experience is preferred.
Knowledge of the Wisconsin and Northern Illinois health care environment is preferred.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Bachelor's degree in a marketing, communications or healthcare-related field is required.

Nursing or clinical health care degree preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:

Strong leadership skills designed to inspire and influence; ability to motivate a sales team.

Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, work independently and to contribute to and work as a part of a team.

Strong written and verbal communication, organizational and time management skills.

Proven ability to develop and sustain relationships with a variety of health care providers and professionals, as well as an ability to manage multiple projects with a variety of timelines.

A comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of issues related to the development of referring physician relationships, including referral chain.

Active awareness of market growth programs, process improvement, customer loyalty, creative problem solving and service recovery initiatives.

Possesses excellent ability to communicate with internal and external constituents.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.

Knowledge of the local and regional physician community is highly desirable. Experience with CRM is preferred.
